Fan and Food Donations Help Residents - Description The high temperatures are upon us! To help people cope, TXU Energy, Irving Cares, and community volunteers teamed up to distribute 400 box fans and food to residents at a drive-thru event. Several elected officials were among the volunteers helping out -- and sharing messages about heat safety. This effort is part of TXU Energy's "Beat the Heat" campaign.
